Q. What is the age range of your tricycles?

Our tricycles cater for ages from 2 1/2 years through to adult. The age range for a product is only a guide to choosing the model size, for a more accurate guide please check the Inside Leg Measurement for foot propelled tricycles. The key dimension for Handcycles is the Centre of Seat to Pedals measurement.

Our sizing chart will guide you to the most suitable size of tricycle.

Q. How do I transport and store your larger tricycles?

All TRIAID tricycles with the exception of the IMP and Terrier models are supplied with a frame folding mechanism as part of the standard specification. This allows the tricycle to be split into two sections for easier storage or transportation. This feature is available as an option on the Terrier model.

Q. Is there any assistance available for funding?

TRIAID has close links with a number of charities and organisations which provide funding assistance for the purchase of our cycles. We have developed these links over the years and are now either the sole supplier or prefererred supplier with many of these organisations.

The HITCH is a 2-in-1 product which provides the user with the opportunity to cycle independently on a tricycle or to become part of a team when cycling on the trailer unit.

This innovative product is an ideal product for family cycling, it allows the tricycle to be used as either as an independent tricycle or as a trailer unit.The HITCH model is a 2 in 1 product which includes a Terrier Tricycle plus the HITCH extension Arm with Mounting Hardware.

It has all the standard features of a Terrier Tricycle, with its sturdy frame and easy gearing, but with the ability to be quickly changed into a trailer unit. The package includes a Terrier tricycle with a frame folding mechanism which can be converted to a trailer cycle by replacing the front section of the tricycle with an extension arm which joins to the adults cycle.

What types of adult tricycles can this be fitted onto?

The HITCH cycles have a universal mounting bracket which attaches to the seat post of the adults cycle, it is not compatible with cycles fitted with suspension seat posts or a cycle with a rear suspension frame. The mounting bracket comes with 3 seperate spacers that allow the bracket to fit to most seat posts, please contact us if you have a question regarding sizing.
